About our Program

This Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers program began in 1999 with the  efforts of  the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.  Our program now operates as an independent organization. The concept has developed into a combination of efforts by local media,  Sheboygan County law enforcement agencies, and the general public. Donations of radio airtime, newspaper space, outdoor billboards and reward monies have established Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers as an effective tool to fight crime in Sheboygan County.

Mission Statement

Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers' mission is to educate the citizens of Sheboygan County in current crime trends by providing information in the form of "Crime of the Week", to promote community awareness in crime prevention, to motivate the general public to cooperate and provide information to all law enforcement agencies and to provide rewards for such information, and to assist law enforcement agencies in solving crimes by providing valuable information from citizens who have information about a crime through the use of anonymous tip venues. |
