Students who step forward with anonymous tips leading to arrests will be eligible for cash awards through either the Quick 50 program operating in some of our county schools or our regular crime stopper tip program.
School and police officials agree that most students want to do the right thing to keep their schools and neighborhoods safe; but sometimes fear reprisals. The Sheboygan County Crime Stoppers program offers the safety of complete anonymity while promoting responsibility and allowing students to take action against victimization and crime.
The School Resource Officer (SRO) in participating Quick 50 schools (City of Sheboygan South High, Sheboygan North High, Farnsworth Middle, Horace Mann Middle, Urban Middle, City of Plymouth High and Riverview Middle and Village of Elkhart Lake High School and Middle School , is available to investigate Quick 50 tips on site.If an arrest is made, a reward of $50 is paid. Quick 50 rewards are paid for information leading to an arrest and confiscation of alcohol, drugs, drug paraphernalia or weapons only.
When to Call
If you aren't sure that what you saw or heard is really a crime, contact Crime Stoppers anyway using our web tip, texting a tip or just calling the tip phone line. Let law enforcement decide if it's worth investigating. It may be a piece of information about a larger or more serious crime.
