Type of Crime: Graffiti Vandalism

On Wednesday, April 20, 2016, the Sheboygan County Sheriff`s Department investigated two cases of graffiti vandalism in the Village of Oostburg that occurred sometime between Thursday, April 14 and Friday, April 15.  Graffiti was spray painted on the sides of the buildings at the Mini-Storage Warehousing located at 947 and 999 Wisconsin Ave., and at Vinyl Graphics located at 215 N 10th St.  The graffiti was spray painted with red and black spray paint and consisted of a smiley face symbol, the combination of letters and numbers, "TL", "TZ7", "C" and the word "Cook".

Type of Crime: Vandalism

On Wednesday, April 6; Sunday, April 10; and Monday, April 22, 2016, the Sheboygan County Sheriff`s Department investigated three separate acts of vandalism to the Cedar Grove Cemetery, 240 S. 2nd Street, Cedar Grove.  The perpetrators in the first two cases caused extensive damage to a split rail fence and in the third case they damaged or tipped over approximately 39 grave stones.  Those responsible need to be held accountable for their actions because they desecrated burial sites by their reprehensible behavior and caused unnecessary additional trauma to the survivors of their loved ones laid to rest in the cemetery.
